The Magic of Disney World

Welcome to the Magical Place we call Walt Disney World

Walking through the front gates of the Magic Kingdom is so much like turning back the hands of time it’s almost scary. Not that I actually lived during the turn of the century (well, not that century anyway), but Main Street U.S.A. is what a small rural town should have looked like in 1900 America. I’m sure none of them did, but this is Disney and I’m willing to put reality aside, smell the cookies, and get caught up in the magic. At one end of Main Street likes an old fashioned train station, while at the other, Cinderella’s castle towers over all the other buildings and pulls all little girls toward it like a great big magnet. Seriously - it happens! Most people look at Main Street U.S.A. as a place to walk through on their way to other lands…you know, the ones with the thrilling rides and elaborate shows. Main Street may not have roller coasters, but it does have charm and lots of little authentic details. So slow down a little as your daughters pull you toward that castle. I’m sure you’ll like what you see!
