Outside of Innoventions sits an igloo. I know - strange place for an igloo. It’s called Ice Station cool, and it’s actually a glorified Coke store, but it is so creatively put together that we’ll ignore the blatant commercialism and praise it’s many good points.
When you walk inside Ice Station Cool, you’ll find a Coke station with free samples of different flavors of Coke from around the world. No, standard American Coke isn’t one of them, but they do have some unique and interesting flavors. Some of them are pretty good, too. Of course, some will taste nasty to Americanized taste buds. One flavor called “Beverly” had my kids begging for broccoli to get the taste out of their mouth. Well…not quite…but almost.
Ice Station Cool is a great place to stop and get out of the heat. Although it’s not technically an attraction, it’s actually a lot of fun. It also makes a wonderful meeting place if you accidentally or purposefully get separated from your party. Think about it: it’s pretty difficult to miss an igloo sitting in the middle of the Florida sun.
