Even if you haven’t seen the movie, “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”, this playground will charm and entertain you. Oh…and it’ll really entertain your kids!
This soft surface playground creates a whole world in which you have the perspective of an ant. Look around and you will find 30 foot blades of grass, tree sized paper clips, and house sized legos. Kids have the chance to explore caves (located under the giant mushroom), climb spiderwebs, and slide down an oversized piece of film. Watch out for the leaky hose: it squirts in a different place every time.
Be aware that the movie set only holds 240 people at a time and can get hot and crowded by afternoon. If you can, plan to visit in the morning, or in the evening when crowds have died down.
Parents of small children have complained that it’s easy to lose your children. It is. However, there’s only one exit, so station an adult by it and they won’t be able to escape into the rest of the park.
Oh…one more note. Stick your hand in the dog’s nostril. Just to see what happens.
