Disneyworld has its share of rides where the guest ends up wet, either partially or thoroughly. Kali river rapids belongs in the thoroughly wet, drenched beyond belief, shoes squishing for the next hour catagory. But it’s a lot of fun.
Kali River Rapids begins as a nice, tranquil float through a rain forest. There are twelve people per circular raft. As the ride progresses, you see that huge chunks of the rain forest have been gutted by loggers. And to top it all off, your raft is headed for a pile of burning logs. Part of the fun of Kali River Rapids is the surprising twists and turns, so I won’t say any more.
You’ll either get wet or soaked, depending on where you sit in the raft. (more…)
