In a high thrills water park such as Blizzard Beach, what do you do with kids who are too old for the kiddie area and a little too young for the larger slides? At Blizzard Beach, you send them to the Ski Patrol Training Camp, an area made especially for pre-teens. It’s a fun little area, and kids from about 7 to 11 will find a lot of things to do.

Summit Plummet is not for the faint of heart. (more…)

Where I live, the weather just turned warm, and actually I was stupid and went outside all day with shorts and no sunscreen. I have one of the worst sunburns of my life. Ahh, summer. Gotta love it.

Anyway, as I sat here at my computer feeling the pain in my legs, my thoughts turned to the thrill and fun of water parks. And of all the water parks I’ve visited, Blizzard Beach is my favorite. (more…)

If you’re expecting a simple, normal water park in the midst of Disneyworld…think again! Everything Disney does revolves around a theme, and the water parks are no exception.

The legend of Blizzard Beach goes like this: (more…)
